I grew up in Sacramento and Fresno and used the Sierra Nevada Mountains as my playground. I worked at Boy Scout Camps during the summers teaching rock climbing and was always up for an adventure.

Time moved on, and I now work as an Industrial Mechanic with robots. To get away from it all, I still go out to the wilderness. Now based in Southern California, this means the mountains and the desert. Away from the stress of the big city, the cell phone, and the traffic is where I can relax and reflect and ground myself.

In the process, I started to take some pictures. I try to capture the beauty, the openness, the peace, the conflict. I hope these images give you a different prospective of the world, one not so far away from the busy bustle of a major city yet a different world.
